Chocoholics - (truffles and pralines)
A chocoholic’s dream! With the help of our chocolatier, you will be guided through the process of making a variety of truffles and chocolates- from tempering our delicious Belgium chocolate and making the various ganaches and fillings, to giving them the perfect finished look, using different techniques. Each participant will go home with a large box filled with a varied selection of different handmade chocolates- plus any spare ganache mixture for you to carry on the fun at home! Our most popular adult workshop option.

Chocolate Making Taster Session
A sumptious introduction to the world of chocolate making. Each participant will work with
our chocolatier to produce a selection of rolled truffles and some filled chocolates. From
the making of the ganache right through to the packaging of their luxury creations, this session
will provide a fun, light hearted experience for those who are in need of a good chocolate fix!
This session is designed to be a great option for both individuals, small groups or larger adult
groups. There are a number of add on options available for groups on the next page.
1 hour, £25 per head. Group rate of £20 apply for 7+.
Our chocolatiers will reveal some of their tricks and techniques for giving your chocolate a really unique, special finish. You will have a go at tempering your own chocolate, before learning how edible lustre, marbling, piping and painting with cocoa butter can give a really stunning finished effect to your chocolate work. This workshop also covers using printed transfer sheets, as well as creating your own transfer sheet. Each participant
will return home with lots of different chocolate pieces using each of the techniques practised.

Chocolate Shoes and Truffle making
Under the guidance of our chocolatiers, you will learn to create one of our most popular products here at Chocolate Whirled. Each participant will learn how to temper chocolate and use special hollowform moulds to produce a pair of elegant (and delicious!) mini Belgian chocolate shoes. The finishing, detailed touches will then be added to the shoes using a variety of techniques, including hand painting with cocoa butter, using fondant/modelling chocolate, and edible lustre. There will also be an opportunity to learn to make a truffle ganache and have a go at making rolled, coated truffles.
